Recently an individual we\u2019ll call Charlie reached out to our Solutions Experts disclosing that his wife seemed to have \u201can interesting phone number randomly assigned to them by their carrier 7 years prior.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When they started receiving numerous calls from people offering to buy their phone number, they first assumed it was some kind of scam. But then it occurred to them that perhaps their randomly assigned phone number actually spelled something specific. When they discovered that it spelled \u201cINJURED\u201d they reached out to NumberBarn to see how much it could potentially sell for.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our Solutions Experts followed up with several options for Charlie and his wife to list the phone number for sale. Within a week, they had a bite. A big bite. An approximately $12.5k bite. I have so many favorite customer experiences, it\u2019s hard to choose from. But, I would say one of my absolute favorite moments was when a customer shared his fascination with numerology with me and predicted the birth of my second child. I came back from maternity leave and had to tell him immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhat are your favorite hobbies outside of work?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n My favorite hobbies outside of work are going to escape rooms, throwing themed parties, adventuring on scavenger hunts, playing board games, seeing movies in the theater, camping and offroading in the desert with my two kiddos, two doggos and the hubs.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cTell us the strangest and funniest, weirdest or most unique thing about you.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n I mean there are too many weird things to count. I love to laugh until my cheeks hurt. The strangest thing about me is that I don\u2019t curse and use replacement words like snickerdoodle. The weirdest thing about me is I hate feet. All feet, even my own. Well, I guess babies\u2019 feet are ok but all others are \u201cew\u201d in my mind. We also have Fug, he is a Frenchi\/pug; he is 1yrs 6 months old and his name is Shadow. He also keeps me busy with walks, baths, and the dog park.
