For a true customized vanity number, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.numberbarn.com\/vanity-phone-numbers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">click here for other options<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the one you want and click &#8220;Select.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Verify Your Existing Phone Number:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, you do need an existing phone number to link Google Voice account!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So to get started, enter your current phone number, then Google will send a verification code to that number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter the code you get when prompted to complete the verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Finalize Your Google Voice Account:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve verified your number, you can do stuff like:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list bloglist-style\">\n<li class=\"bloglist-style\">Set up voicemail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customize your settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Receive calls, texts, and voicemail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the above is all done, you can start to receive calls, send texts, and check voicemail from the Google Voice website, or from the Google Voice app on your mobile device.
