Here are examples of how to obtain it from other major carriers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list bloglist-style\">\n<li><strong>T-Mobile: <\/strong>Dial <strong><em>611<\/em><\/strong>, or go to the app\/web portal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Verizon: <\/strong>Dial <strong><em>#port<\/em><\/strong><em>, <\/em>or go to the app\/web portal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mint:<\/strong> Contact customer service via phone or web chat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>AT&amp;T lists out the transfer PIN acquisition methods for a long tail of other minor mobile carriers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.att.com\/wireless\/transfer-your-number\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3\">How to transfer your number to AT&amp;T<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you\u2019ve acquired all that information, you can start the process of opening an account. If you want to bring along your current phone as well as the number, first check <a href=\"https:\/\/www.att.com\/scmsassets\/support\/wireless\/devices-working-on-att-network.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a> to determine whether AT&amp;T\u2019s network is compatible with your current model. If you\u2019re good to go, you may need to request that your current carrier unlocks your device, depending on their policies, but it should be straightforward.
