Are minutes deducted for wrong numbers?

Every minute is precious.

If you’re on the 300 minute Call Forwarding plan, you’re concerned about calls from robocallers or wrong numbers counting toward your plan minutes.

You didn’t ask that person (or robot) to call you so why would you pay for those minutes?

We totally hear you on that! And, we’ve got your back.

While that first robo or wrong caller will count toward a minute of your plan, you can instantly block their call in your NumberBarn call logs to ensure they don’t try to all you again and use more minutes.

Here’s how to make it happen:

To add a number to the blocked list

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Select Blocking from within your account
  3. Enter the number you wish to block in the provided field and select Add to Block List

To remove a number from the blocked list

In case you accidentally blocked someone you didn’t mean to, you can remove the number from the list.

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Select Blocking from within your account
  3. Click the gray circle X icon to the right of the number you wish to remove from the list.

Anonymous Call Blocking

Turning on Block Anonymous Calls will block all calls with no caller ID, marked private, or those with caller ID blocked. Calls from numbers that don’t appear to be a real phone number will also be blocked with anonymous call blocking.

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Select Blocking from within your account
  3. Toggle the Block Anonymous Calls switch to “on”.

International Call Blocking

Turning on Block International Calls will block all calls that are non-US or Canadian phone numbers.

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Select Blocking from within your account
  3. Toggle the Block International Calls switch to “on”.

What Callers Hear if they try to call

When a blocked number calls, they will hear a busy/disconnect signal on their phone.

What Your Call Logs Show

You’ll know a caller on your block list dialed to your number as their call will show in the logs with 0 minutes used. There will also be a red “block” icon next to the call, indicating it is from your list.
