Do you ever ponder questions like…
Why is one sock always missing from a load of laundry?
Why are pizza boxes square when the pizza is round?
Why are they called goosebumps? Does a goose get people bumps?
What was the best thing before sliced bread?
What about this question:
Has your phone number ever been used by someone else?
Great, we’re glad you asked!
Most phone numbers are recycled.
They might have been with someone at one point and then they go back into the inventory after around 60-90 days. There could be new numbers out there that have never been used – I mean, there are a lot of numbers!
If you’re looking for a fresh number:
- Do a Google search on the number to see if anything pops up
- Contact the current provider of the number to see if they can trace the history of customer usage within their system
Note: They can only see what is in their system, they cannot search other providers.
