Did you know that you can send and receive text messages with your NumberBarn US and Canadian local phone numbers?
Text messaging is included with all plans, works in your browser or on your smart phone. No need to ever listen to a voicemail. Chances are, you won’t be able to hear it anyways over the kids.
You can choose to receive an email notification when a text message arrives at your number. That way, you’ll always know when a message is waiting.
While we do not notify you on your phone via your usual messaging platform nor do we have a notification display on our app, you can set up VIP notifications using the email client on your smart phone. To learn more about how this works, check out our guide here.
SMS from financial institutions or social media first require you to check with the company to make sure they can send to wireline numbers. We’d rather be transparent about this and you can find more details on what we mean in our article here.
