You’re not alone with port out problems

Starting fresh in a new town is tough.

Starting fresh in a new country is even tougher.

Our customer, Mirjam, arrived in the US from Switzerland, with big plans to secure a new number for her cell phone. However, nothing seemed to go right from the beginning.

NumberBarn stepped up to the plate with a smile to help however we could.

In her words, learn about the challenges Mirjam faced and what ended up going right!

When I was moving to the Unites States from out of the country, there were many mysterious things coming up. Even if everything seemed  to be clear and easy at first sight, there have been problems crossing  my way everywhere as I did not really understand all the systems here.  Starting from how to get a SSN, a bank account, a drivers license, and  even a phone, I was often lost. In addition my memory is not really the best, so I needed a phone number I could remember easily. How lucky I was that I found NumberBarn! I could choose a number that is exactly the same as I had back at my home country! I would then have my new number ported to my cell phone company to use on my phone.

Somehow it did not work and nobody at the new phone company was able or willing to help me.

A journey began – and it took more than a month to finally being able to port my number.

Until I reached out to NumberBarn.

If Kylie from NumberBarn would not have been so extremely helpful and patient, I would have never been able to make it. She took over for me, calling the phone company again and again in order to work all problems out. And, even if it was definitely not NumberBarn’s fault, she did not give up until I finally had my phone working! Not only that, she was very customer-driven doing so.

She always had an optimistic smile on her lips that cheered me up when I was ready to give up.

I just love the possibility to get my desired number at NumberBarn. I will use the service of “parking” my number again when I leave the country in order so I can still have it when I am back – no need to pay a phone plan all the time when I am not here.

I can’t say enough about how extremely impressed I was by the customer service NumberBarn offers: fast, friendly and really devoted – it’s a rare thing to find companies like that, here in the USA but everywhere else as well. NumberBarn is really outstanding and I recommend to everybody that needs a service like this, not to think any longer but just come to the right place at NumberBarn.
